E-Payment Trade Fee

Objective

The main objective of the E-Payment System is to provide citizens with the facility to effect payment of Trade Fee online to the Municipal Council. This will avoid the hassle of people having to queue up at the Municipal Cash Office.

Key Features

  • The system accepts payment for the whole year only. Part payment is not allowed.

  • Once payment is successfully effected, an acknowledgement receipt will be generated and a print of the e-receipt identified by a QR code can be made.

User Manual

  1. Users should firstly complete the registration process in order to obtain a username and password.

  • Fill in the registration form which is available at the health department of the Council and can also be downloaded here 

  • Deposit the signed form in original to the health department of the Council together with the following documents:

    • Copy of your NID/Certificate of Incorporation

    • Copy of your Business Card

    • Copy of latest Trade Fee Receipt

    • Username and password will be sent to applicants by email.

Click on Login / Register 

 

 

 

Insert your user name and password as well as the capcha

 

 

Click on “e-payment for trade fee” and select local authority concerned as below

 

The corresponding fees will be displayed in chronological order and all payments will be checked by default. Arrears and their corresponding surcharge will have to be paid first.

 

When clicking on “Submit Payment” button, another screen will be displayed together with the total amount to be paid as per screen shot below:

 

 

 

 

By clicking on “Proceed to Payment”, the economic operator will be taken to the SBM payment gateway in order to finalise the transaction.
